Of course, such iconic UK festivals. Always an eclectic lineup and bangin’ atmosphere. I’m salivating at the very thought. wHaT are your Top 3 Tips on How To survive a fesTival? Tip 1 - you must lather your undercarriage with lashings of sudocream to stave away the most unpleasant of complaints that I call ‘fesi-gooch’ with all that walking around things can get pretty chafed down there. Tip 2 - get up early to use the bogs, they will be cleaner then, it’s never nice taking a shit on top of several other people’s shit. Tip 3 - Don’t stop drinking or you’ll get a hangover and ruin it for yourself. so aparT from sudocream, are THere any oTHer THings you sHould noT forgeT To bring? Don’t forget to bring a tent, this may sound obvious but I once made this mistake and had to sleep on a grass verge for 3 nights on my first Reading festival experience. wHaT’s THe besT Hangover cure? Carry on drinking. You can endure your hangover on Monday in the comfort of your own home. did you used To go To THe fesTival yourself as a punTer? Too right I did, Reading was my go to festival each year. The first time I went was in 1998. Me and Moose from Bullet For My Valentine turned up with no tickets and no tent. I was in awe of how huge an event it was. We both swore that we’d one day play here in our own bands. Pretty nuts that it’s come true! first few songs with no monitors, sloshing around in an inch of water and finally the electronics give up the ghost and we had no power to the stage. A quick rendition of Queen’s We Will Rock You came to save the day and the sun came out and all was happy ever after. wHicH bands do you remember waTcHing? and wHaT’s THe besT memory? Very few. I’m afraid it was mainly spent in a drunken haze wHaT’s THe weirdesT memory you Have of reading & leeds fesT? Printed like a scar upon my memory is the moment it proceeded to piss it down just as we walked on main stage back in 2009. We struggled through the I think just looking out of the main stage in front of all those people, it’s a very surreal experience. wHo would be your dream Headliner for neXT year? Us because we would get paid an extortionate amount of money and I could go and gamble it all on a horse.
