“These friends are who I will remember most and have been the greatest part of studying at Hull.” The International Culture Festival is an action packed week of activities and events to celebrate and showcase our different cultural groups. The week aims to encourage students to Go Global by bringing together students and staff from home & abroad. From various international films to the Culture Bazaar and Flag parade, we're sure there will be something for everyone. We would also like to say a big thank you to all the students involved in making this happen, we look forward to seeing you all during the week! Monday 20 April Flag Parade A chance to experience all the different national groups on campus, witness some traditional dance at our flag parade . Students and staff will be representing their heritage through music and dance. Q&A Study Abroad This session is a great opportunity for students to discover their options when in comes to studying abroad. You will have a chance to speak to students and staff about semester studies and summer programmes. International Film Screening A popular event from last year is our film screening. We will be screening 2 exciting international films on culture and diversity. Tuesday 21 April Global Careers Session This is an important session for students to understand the influence of having a global perspective in the work place. This session will explore how to ‘go global’ and stand out in an international jobs market. Guest Speaker Our guest speaker for the Business School will be talking to students and staff about internationalisation an d how it is relevant to students. There will be a Q&A session after the lecture has finished. Global Quiz Night This annual event has always been very popular attracting over 200 students each year. The evening will be filled with a global quiz, fun activities and prizes to be won! There will also be a free international buffet for all students participating in this event. This is very popular so it will be a first come, first serve event!
