FOR A DAY OUT
If you were to peep into a Barbadian beach bag, you would most likely find, a towel, some water, a book or tablet, a soda( or two), some sunblock and tons of unhealthy snacks to inhale while at the beach. Sadly if we want to continue to stay sexy in our suits and loungers, consuming a mass of unhealthy snacks may not be the best idea. Instead maybe we could consider a few healthy snack alternatives to take on our next outing.
This light snack is high in fiber and leaves you feeling fuller longer, check the bag for caloric intake and select the one that suits you best.
VEGGIES WITH DIP
This snack is loaded with vitamins, is high in fiber, low in fat and can be very refreshing.
POPCORN
One of the most, if not the most important item on your list is water. It’ s the ORIGINAL way to rehydrate, try flavoured water for a sweeter low calorie option that is refreshing and tasty.
FRESH FRUIT
Taking fruit to the beach is a great way to ensure that you get your five daily servings of fruit & veg. Fruits are full of nutrients and can act as natural thirst quenchers on a hot day.
