RUN BARBADOS MARATHON
Experience a challenging and fun-filled 3 day weekend at the Run Barbados Marathon . This is the 34th edition of the AIMS _ IAAF certified Run Barbados Series , the marathon is set for December 2nd - 4th .

RUGBY | FLOW RUGBY BARBADOS WORLD 7
Rugby 7s is coming to Barbados for the first time in December . Previously know as Tobago 7s , Rugby 7s has been played in the Caribbean for over 29 years . With teams participating from Scotland , USA , the Caribbean , Canada and New Zealand , this year ’ s event has expanded to include U-20 Men ’ s and Women ’ s divisions . Held Dec 10 - 11 this exciting 2-day event promises to be chock full of thrills and many spills .

SANDY LANE GOLD CUP
The Garrison Savannah plays two significant roles within Barbados , it ’ s apart of the UNESCO World Heritage site and it has been the home of horse racing in Barbados
28 | GO BARBADOS since 1845 . The Sandy Lane Gold Cup is one of the most distinguished horse racing event in the Eastern Caribbean , attracting renown jockeys , trainers and thoroughbred horses the world over . Held on Saturday , 4th March 2017 , The 8.95 furlongs ( 1800 m ) race is open to horses aged three years and older and is ran on a well maintained turf course .

ENGLAND TOUR OF THE WEST INDIES
A good game of cricket can be found all year long in Barbados , From a day of beach cricket with friends to International , world-class matches at Kensington Oval . One match not be missed is the England Tour of the West Indies Feb 22 - Mar 9 , with the 3 rd ODI on March 9 at Kensington Oval .
