2nd Year: By the start of GNFC’s second year, the club had an enrolment
of 72 young footballers, 9 of which were females. In December 0f 2013
another Stoke City FC Coaching camp was hosted by GNFC. A total of 24
players were invited back to Stoke City FC and the first group of 12 will be
leaving in August 2014 with the remaining 12 journeying in October 2014.
GNFC now has based within the coaching staff, Stoke City FC’s, UEFA B licensed coach, Jack Day for 4 months. During coach Day’s stint GNFC
hosted its Second Annual Youth Challenge Series Cup with more teams entering the tournament.
Generation Next FC remains determined and resolute in developing the
young footballers of Antigua & Barbuda as we continue to “prepare the
next generation of professional footballers”.
