Mount Madonna School ' s 16th Annual Earth Day and Summit for the Planet was a fun , festive day for all in attendance . Organizers hosted kids and kids at heart with activities , art , educational awareness booths , reptiles , and a 5k family hike through the magnificent redwoods that grace the campus and hillside . Highlights were a solar powered model car race , the blessing of the land , a " trashy " fashion show , pony rides and great food . Plan to attend next year ' s event ! Visit :
