I’m proud to be part of it.” Angelia Guglielmo Customer Relations and Sales Development Guglielmo Winery Angelia Guglielmo has been working in the hospitality industry for over 16 years, the last two of which have been at Guglielmo Winery in Morgan Hill. She is the great granddaughter of Emilio Guglielmo, who founded the historic winery back in 1925. Angelia’s focus is customer relations and sales development and she has enjoyed wearing different hats to gain a well-rounded understanding of the family business. Her primary role is to increase brand awareness and establish new accounts for the winery. She has also served as Tasting Room Manager, helped improve customer service, increased on- line marketing, and organized offsite pouring events, from festivals to formal dinners and fundraisers. Angelia, 37, is quick to point out that her family didn’t pressure her to work at the winery but instead encouraged her to travel and explore different career options. After high school 26 she lived in Switzerland for a time, then returned to the States to pursue General Education studies at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo. From there, she spent fi ve years working in the Boston area. Prior to joining the Winery, Angelia worked in the restaurant business, the marine industry, and in retail customer service. Today, she is motivated by a passion to preserve and build upon the Guglielmo Family legacy. Guglielmo Winery sits on more than 80 acres in Santa Clara Valley and produces about 40,000 cases of high-quality and award-winning wines per year. It is also one of Morgan Hill’s most beloved venues for weddings, fundraisers and family celebrations. Angelia is a graduate of Leadership Morgan Hill, Class of 2018. She lives in Morgan Hill with her husband Isaac, who works at Coffee Guys, and their dog Lucky.
