Navigating our Shifting Market O ver the last few months we have seen a shift in the market with prices adjusting a little down- ward and buyers taking a little longer to decide on their purchase. Prices, however, seem to be leveling out since the adjustment. This market is good for sellers and buyers. We still have many interested buyers that have the opportunity to choose from many available properties. And for sell- ers, there are still many buyers. And as interest rates have risen, buyers are motivated to buy sooner, rather than later. So this can be a good time to either sell or buy and, in many cases, to do both. For sellers this is the time to put your best foot for- ward when preparing your home for sale so yours stands out among the other listings. That way you may sell faster and at a better price than the competition. Realtors can be a great asset and can help the sellers make the best decisions on what to spend money on for home improvement before marketing their home. They can also can give suggestions on contractors for needed improvements and, in many cases, help you get better prices with the least amount of inconvenience. Having help navigating through needed improvements, the marketing, the sale and the close of escrow can take a lot of stress off both the seller and the buyer. Bottom Line: This is a wonderful time to find your dream home or, for empty nesters, to downsize. Selling South Valley homes with quality and distinction for over 35 years!
