As for mom and dad, Brenda enjoys
spending time outdoors and gardening.
She is especially fond of the several out-
door living spaces that can be accessed
from the kitchen, living room and
some of the bedrooms. The screened-
in patio by the pool is used the most
as the large screen can be electronically
raised to provide access to the pool or
kept down to keep the shade in and
provide a separation from the elements
and wandering critters who visit year-
round. She is also a camera buff and
enjoys taking photos of the family,
many of which are displayed throughout
her home.
Shawn enjoys solving problems
around the house as well as working
with Jerry Ortiz of Creative Building
Solutions to keep the landscaping
manicured. “It’s a constant job to keep
the yard and house looking this good
and Jerry and his team are always there
when we need him.” said Shawn.
Some of the custom features of the
home are results of his creativity. The
sheet metal cover atop the chimney is
one such creation. He designed and
