FOURTH ANNUAL SPEAKEASY
On June 23rd, the Morgan Hill Historical Society
hosted the popular annual Speakeasy fundraiser
with its traditional Prohibition Era theme. Guests
arrived at Villa Mira Monte in their best 1920s
garb. Juan de Dios and Cari Garcia of Arthur
Murray Dance Studios had everyone on their
feet, dancing to the music of Janet Klein &
Her Parlour Boys. GVA Café catered the event.
Morgan Hill Photography Club snapped photos.

GLENN GOLDSMITH TURNS 90 YEARS YOUNG
Glenn Goldsmith, founder of Goldsmith Seeds, celebrated his 90th Birthday with just about all of his family (42 gathered for this photo) this past June at the National
Tropical Botanical Gardens in Poipu, Kauia. Over 100 family members, island friends and even a few friends from the States joined in the celebration. His sons, Joel,
Richard, Bill and Jim were on hand to pay tribute to their father. Glen and Jane Goldsmith retired in Kauai in 1997.
