“RotaCare was generated with the idea of serving the needy, the uninsured or those who didn’t have access to healthcare due to immigration history or poverty.” Dr. Victor Raul Felipa, who shares the role of Medical Director of the Gilroy clinic with Dr. Michael Matsumoto T he RotaCare program was started in 1989 by Dr. Mark Campbell, whose efforts were supported by the Campbell chapter of Rotary Club, where he was a member. His goal was to provide medical care to underserved communities. Though RotaCare clinics are not technically a Rotary project, according to RotaCare CEO Jatinderpal Sahi, they are supported through the Rotary Club, both financially and in terms of manpower hours. In the 28 years since the program’s founding, they’ve opened 11 licensed RotaCare clinics in Gilroy and through- out the greater Bay Area and Santa Cruz, with a Stockton clinic coming soon.   “We’re
