Billing ^ You will receive your tuition bill in the mail by mid-July. Fall 2019 tuition is due by August 13. ^ You can pay in full by August 13 for Fall 2019, apply for a Parent Plus or Private loan to cover an outstanding balance once all other financial aid has been applied to your account, OR you can pay your semester charges monthly by setting up a payment plan through CashNet. You can sign up for a payment plan through your GMercyU Self-Service account, which will be set up for you once you register for classes. Don’t worry, you will receive specific instructions with your invoice in July. For more information on Self Service, see page 14. Four-Month Payment Plan Payment Plan Schedule Fall Semester Enrollment Fee $35.00 Enrollment Period 7/15 to 8/15 Payment 1 August 1 Payment 2 September 1 Payment 3 October 1 Payment 4 November 1 Your monthly payment amount is calculated as follows: • Tuition, fees and other charges minus your Anticipated Financial Aid • If new charges are applied or additional aid is received, payment amounts are spread equally over the remaining months. • A $25 late fee will be assessed monthly for any late or missed payments. • If a second payment is missed, your payment plan will be canceled and you will be assessed a $50 late charge. Student Health Insurance ^ Full-time undergraduates are automatically charged a fee for Health Insurance. If you are already covered through a private health plan, please complete the health insurance waiver online by September 11, 2019. If you don’t complete the waiver online by this date, you will be responsible for the fee. The fee amount will be available in early spring. You will learn more at your Griffin K.E.Y.S. event. To complete the waiver, go to www.firststudent.com, and provide: • Your birth date • GMercyU student ID (9-digit number located on the top right of your bill, no dash) • Current insurance information NOTE: This waiver process is different than the proof of insurance required for living on campus or participating in sports. 10
