As in previous years we are asking branches if they can support these events
to help us ensure a presence and to supply information and merchandise to the
event goers. The Pride events are always lively, colourful celebrations of fun for
the whole family and attract huge crowds, especially the city centre ones which
attract tens of thousands of people.
This is a brilliant opportunity for active branches to showcase some of the fabulous
work that goes on in the region and show that trade unions are about more than
representation when people have problems. Thanks to the following branches who
have already sent in early donations this year K28, OPS1, L34 and S02
This year we will once again be attending Pride events across the region,
confirmed dates so far ar e Blackpool 10th &11th June, Liverpool 29th & 30th
July and Manchester 25th-28th August, we’d love to see some of you there.
