GMB members at Liverpool City Council were
delighted to see the withdrawal of a major
review of Leisure Services.
The victory for common sense only came
after the GMB threatened industrial action
after a successful ballot.

“The council are carrying out their own
investigation into whether this is a
breach of the 2015 Agreement and if it
is, it could result in back pay for these
members as far back as June 2015.”
