BILL SMITH HOUSE
GMB recently re-named our regional
office in Liverpool - Bill Smith House in
honour of former Regional Secretary Bill
Smith. Bill and his family were present
at a naming ceremony attended by
members, Reps and Officers both past
and present.
Paying tribute to Bill was Billy Goulding
who was regional President when Bill
Smith was Regional Secretary and
he reminded everyone how Bill was
responsible for building membership and
saving our region paving the way for
the building of our regional office in its
current location at Columbus Quay.
