MEMBERS’ WELLNESS PROGRAM
LAUNCHED AT KOOINDAH WATERS
K
ooindah Waters Golf
Club has been touched
by the effects of mental
health in the past few years.
With this in mind, the club
would like to announce a
new wellbeing program open
to all Kooindah Waters Golf
Club members. The wellbeing
program has been introduced
to make it as easy as possible
for members to have access
to a professional service.
Introducing Adam Wiseman
– Adam has been registered
and working as a psychologist
since 2005, having graduated
from Macquarie University
with a bachelor of science in
psychology, and also from
the University of Western
Sydney with a postgraduate
diploma of psychology and
a master of psychology
(sport psychology). Adam is
passionate about supporting
his clients to develop their
psychologicall skills and has a
particular interest in sport and
performance psychology, as
well as in stress, anxiety and
depression management. He
has a friendly and easygoing
approach and utilises both
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
(CBT) and Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy (ACT)
to develop personalised
strategies to help his clients
work towards their goals.
Kooindah Waters Golf Club has
set aside funding for members’
initial and any necessary
ongoing consultations for
mental wellbeing. This
service is completely free
and anonymous and does
not require a reference from
a GP. Seeking assistance
will be as easy as booking
an appointment with Adam
and mentioning that you
are a member of Kooindah
Waters Golf Club. At the
appointment you will just need
to show Adam your current
membership card.
Specialising in sports
psychology, Adam is also
available for those that feel
this may help their golf game
or other sporting interests.
Although this is not part of the
Kooindah Waters wellbeing
program and would be at your
own expense.
If interested to find out more
about the program contact
