JOHN DEERE TEAMS CHAMPIONSHIP
Our John Deere Teams Event
was held at the beautiful
Links Hope Island hosted
by GM Tracey-Lea Tiley.
After playing on one of the
country’s best resort style
course it was the team
from Nudgee lead by their
GM, Darren Richards, who
came through to win the
chocolates. Michael Ronan’s
Ashgrove team finished in
2 nd place and both team
qualified for the John
Deere Trans Tasman Final
held at Maroochy River in
September.
GM & PRO DAY – CALOUNDRA
In August we headed up to beautiful
Caloundra Golf Club hosted by GM
Jason Looker. The annual event saw
GM’s invite their Professionals and
the PGA also attended with Mark Weir
presenting on a variety of areas which
the organisation is focused on at the
moment and into the future. Recently
appointed Head Professional, Tom
Arnott who had previously been at The
Coast Golf Club and also Wantima Golf
Club, finished off the education section
with some great experiences and stories
from his time at the three clubs.
