It’s been a busy six months since the
last magazine. There have been many
new brands and products becoming
endorsed, as well as the successful
Melbourne Gluten Free Expo.
The great news for all of us (yes, I am a coeliac
too!) who follow a gluten free diet is that many
new companies, large and small, have launched
innovative new products, giving us more choices.
Some of the new great products that have been
launched in the last six months include an easy
drinking American hopped Pale Ale from Two
Bays Brewing; all natural lupin flours and grains
from Lupins for Life; Gluten Free Vegemite (need I
say more...); a Gluten Free, low carb 99% sugar
free, preservative free beer, Hahn Ultra Crisp; Mrs
Brunt’s Kitchen innovative shake and bake bread
and cake mixes, Mamaji’s home-style Indian
sauces, Ella’s Wisdom range of yummy gluten free
cookies.
We have also had a number of companies join
the program with their exciting products, including
My Provincial Kitchen’s lupin flours and pancake
mix, Little Pancake Company gluten free Poffertjes
and pancake mix, Big Rick’s range of sticky
Bar-B-Q sauces, Heaven’s Bakehouse meat pies,
garlic bread and pastry, Hopper delicious golden
Gluten Free Waffles, Wildnee teff grains and
flours, and Sunbeam Shots delicious nut snacks.
Look for this logo, it
means you can buy
products, confident
they are suitable for
your gluten free diet.
The Coeliac Australia Endorsement Program, utilising the
international Crossed Grain Logo, is a trademark owned
and administered by Coeliac Australia under a licence
agreement. You can be confident that products that display
this logo are;
• Reviewed and approved by Coeliac Australia as
suitable for a gluten free diet
• Gluten Free, with no detectable gluten as per the
FSANZ guidelines for gluten free,
• Tested at an independent laboratory for gluten every
12 months.
• Supporting people following a gluten free diet.

manufacturer). This provides
information such as where to
buy these products, and contact
details for the manufacturer,
should you wish to contact them

I have personally enjoyed trying most of these
foods as they have become available in my local
area – and I hope you do too.
Remember, every product in the endorsement
program is tested EVERY YEAR for gluten at an
independent laboratory to confirm the product is
gluten free! This means you can enjoy the great
range of endorsed products without worry. So,
look out for the Coeliac Australia Endorsement
logo when you are shopping – you can trust
that the product is gluten free and enjoy it with
confidence!
