This wearable yet trendy collection brings Athleisure to life on the runway. The menswear designer showcased a strong collection with slouchy jackets, baggy sweatshirts, loose pants along with the sleekly cut ensembles. The edgy styling and accessorising with fanny packs gave a New York street style look that is very refreshing for Pakistan. High-end men’s fashion is always done right by Omar Farooq. Saira Shakira – Canvas The ethos of this collection was inspired by the work of artist Ian Davenport. The bold aesthetic juxtaposed perfectly with the experimental yet wearable silhouettes, especially with the chic black belts. Not only did it bring some major style statements to the ramp, the brand managed to take inspiration from Ian’s work in a very creative and unique manner. From the dramatic shoulders and sleeves to the nipped waists and contemporary print, Saira Shakira did bring something new to the ramp, which was lauded by all. We can easily say that the structured draped tops and loose pants are sure to become a major trend in 2018. Nida Azwer – The Mughal Court Nida Azwer’s prét collection made a mark at PSFW’18 because of the sleek silhouettes and the modern cuts. The brand worked with a pastel colour palette in blue, gold, ivory and grey. Moreover, the frilled necklines and statement sleeves were seen dominating the runway this time around. The intricate work on the ensembles along with heavy 3D embellishments on blazers and gowns were definitely pleasing to the eyes.
