After Raja Natwarlal, Humaima was a part of Sher starring Sanjay Dutt. “The 45-days shoot for Sher was paused when Sanjay was arrested, but we managed to finish the movie as soon as he got back,” said Humaima. “Working in India made me realise that the Indo-Pak politics is as bad as families fighting among themselves,” she continued. We asked Humaima about the response she got for her Bollywood debut, as Emraan Hashmi is known for his unconventional roles, which is a little different for the Pakistani culture. “People’s criticism did bother me in the beginning, but what I have realised over time is that they make me a stronger person.
