The world gazes at me,
Trying to make a mark.
It looks past me, not able to see,
The beauty, the divinity, the love.
Instead, selling products to become less and less me.
You can say that I am wonderful.
But then you’d be lying.
You can say I am beautiful.
But it’s not my soul for which you’re vying.
