I asked passers-by to help him into my car, People looked at me queerly, Cursing and fuming, somehow I managed to seat the old chap in the car, Offered him water, He was barely breathing, Asked directions of passers by to the nearest hospital, Seated him in the patient’s’ lounge, Doing the paperwork, Running from counter-to-counter, Time flew by.. Harassed by this fluke of fate, I turned round to check on the old man; He was keenly seeing the breaking news, on the large flat TV screen, I too stopped in my tracks, And horror of horrors!
