ARMS AND WEAPONS DRONES: JUST EYE IN THE SKY? MITHUN PAUL* They are normally installed for military and special maneuver applications, but also used in a small but growing number of civil applications, such as remote sensing, commercial aerial surveillance, commercial and motion picture filmmaking, domestic policing, oil, gas and mineral exploration and production, disaster relief, scientific research, search and rescue, maritime patrol, archaeology, forest fire detection and firefighting, nonmilitary security work, such as surveillance of pipelines, and many more future possibilities. UAVs are often preferred for missions that are 41 and they are flown remotely so there is no risk to the flight squad. Page Drone is an aircraft without a human pilot on board which is often termed as ―unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)‖. It is either controlled by pilots from the ground or increasingly, autonomously following a preprogrammed mission. While there are numerous types of drones, they basically fall into two categories: those that are used for reconnaissance and surveillance purposes and those that are armed with missiles and bombs.
