The Polish culture is very unique because of it’s food, music,
and traditions. In Poland, a traditional food is Pierogi which are
dumplings. They also eat Golabki which are stuffed cabbage rolls,
and Kielbasa and Cabbage. In Poland, traditional music is folk, and
polka. Though, in more recent times, Polish people tend to enjoy
many different kinds of heavy metal- black metal, thrash metal,
death metal, and gothic metal. Some Polish traditions are Wigilia
which is a special Christmas dinner. They also celebrate All Saints
Day, and Pisanki, which is a tradition for Polish easter eggs.
The Polish culture is also interesting because of it’s school
and sports. Students start school at age 6 and attend until the age
of 15. They attend school September through May. Sports that
people enjoy in Poland are motor cross, track and field and
basketball. People also enjoy fencing, soccer, and ice hockey. All
of these different traditions are what makes this culture unique and
special.
