Global Security and Intelligence Studies
This paper demonstrates the current ambiguity in laws directed toward lone wolf terrorism hinders current and future policy . Scholars are encouraged to apply the concepts proposed in this paper to previous research efforts in order to determine if relevant findings need adjustment or refinement . Policymakers and law enforcement officials will benefit by considering the concepts presented and discussing these issues with legal professionals to determine the best path forward . While probably not eliminated in its entirety , part of reducing the threat of lone wolf terrorism to the United States lies in the hands of legislators .
