Whether we are staying in Qatar, travelling or joining a summer camp, we're all looking forward to a great summer vacation. Our ultimate goal is to make the best out of summer.
Usually, students spend the whole vacation doing anything but educating themselves. BREATHE! Worksheets and mock tests are not what I am going after. Summer isn't about that.
Summer vacation is a time durring which we are supposed to relax and enjoy freedom. On the other hand, summer is also the perfect time to discover the fun side of education. It is the perfect time to associate learning with daily lives rather than schools and teachers. HOW?
There are many ways to make this summer vacation productive and fun at the same time.
Get a diary. Make it your best friend whom you share your worries and best moments with. Write five lines a night before you go to sleep. This will help keep your grammar and writing skills up to level.
Read a book from your favorite genre. Read one book throughout the whole summer. No need to sit at home and do it. You can read at the beach as you tan, at your backyard, on your way to meet your friends or even before you go to bed.
Learn at least one vocabulary word a day. Stick it up on your wall. By the end of the summer; you’ll have tens of new terms to use in your writing.
