know that if they graduate, they won’t have much options after high school. Even if they are able to finance a college education and obtain a degree, they would have no options to work their profession without a social security or authorization for employment.
DACA makes America look like a great country by all of its great benefits, and by helping many undocumented people feel safe. Many of those who benefit from DACA don’t know any other home country than the U.S. Taking away DACA would be a huge mistake because it doesn’t only affect people on DACA, but it affects the U.S. After making a huge step forward, the decision to overturn DACA would be taking a step back and will add more negativity to the U.S and create chaos. We shouldn’t kill the dream but keep the dream alive. ∎

"I am a DACA recipient and have legal authorization to work. Through my job, I am able to provide my family with health care insurance. My daughter has been diagnosed with a rare medical condition that only affects 9 kids worldwide. Due to her condition, we depend heavily on my employer’s medical insurance. So if I lose DACA, I would be losing our family’s only way of getting medical insurance at a reasonable rate."
