Purpose Test protocol - Weave Agility To test: agility, speed and sport specific movements. Procedure • The athlete will tag on using their RFID band. • The athlete will start with the front foot toe just touching the starting line, heel up on the back foot, body mass over the front foot and shoulders and hips square in a crouched ready position. • Once the athlete is in the ready position, all subsequent movement must be in a forward direction. • The athlete may start in their own time once the timing system is ready and the start gate is green. • The athlete will pivot around pole 4, keeping the pole on their left. They will then proceed to weave in and out of poles 3 to 1, pivot around pole 1 weave back through poles 2 to 4, and exit with pole 4 on their left side. • The athlete will then accelerate in a straight line through the finish gate. • The athlete will be disqualified if any of the poles are knocked over. • The athlete will only run this test once. Data Analysis The time will then recorded to the nearest 0.001sec.
