Virtual desktop refers to the user interface in a virtual
environment, where this operating system on the
virtualized PC desktop is stored in a centralised remote
server. Desktop virtualisation
software uses the
decoupling technology to separate PC environment from
the physical machine, storing this virtual machine (VM) of
the PC desktop on a centralised server, further, allowing
any remote client device such as smartphones, tablets,
PCs, thin clients and laptops to access this virtual
environment through a network.
Virtual desktop focuses on the concept of centralization,
