breakers, etc., which help in conducting or interrupting flow of electrical power, and the control systems, such

Switchgears are majorly categorized into Low Voltage Switchgears (upto 1 kV), Medium Voltage Switchgears
(1.1 kV to 40 kV) and High Voltage Switchgears (above 40 kV). Low voltage switchgears are placed within a
building, however the medium and high voltage switchgears can be mounted indoor or outdoors.
