Product Overview
•
Lithium-ion battery is a chargeable energy storage device. In comparison to traditional battery technologies, it
is capable of providing significantly higher performance. Consequently, lithium-ion battery is being increasingly
used as a power supply source in consumer electronics as well as in hybrid and electric vehicles.
•
Lithium-ion battery has three major components, namely, Cathode, Anode and Electrolyte. During the time of
charging, the lithium-based positive electrode releases lithium-ions, which move towards the negative electrode,
while passing through the electrolyte. At the time of discharging, the lithium-ion move back to positive electrode
from negative electrode, while passing through the electrolyte, thereby producing energy.
