Build The BuY Paris Brand
BuY Paris Duty Free is a joint venture between Aelia Lagardère Services and Aéroports
de Paris, on 70 points of sale. Retail Access worked with them to augment the brand
persona and to make it come alive as well as in doing so ensure that the commercial
performance of the concept is in line with expectations. Nicolas Venturini, General

How important is travel retail around
the world?
NV: The Travel Retail channel is an extremely strategic
market for brand development and visibility. Estimated at
$55,8 billion US dollars in 2012, it should double in the next
10 years. In emerging and developing countries, the middle
class travellers are growing significantly. This new traveller
profile directly impacts travel retail with a more diversified
product offer instead of focusing exclusively on luxury
products which has been the traditional mainstay of the
channel.
