Mailyn Valenzuela, from
Guatemala, grew up
with her parents fighting
frequently. Her father
drank excessively, and
her mother had a strong
temper. Her tumultuous
home life led her to using
drugs to cope with
the emptiness she felt.
Her grandmother began teaching her the
Bible and the hope we have in the Gospel of
Jesus Christ. Although it was difficult for Mailyn
to move forward, she knew that God would
never abandon her. Today, she is thankful that
she went through difficult situations and came
to know Christ. She studied English at the Love
Guatemala Foundation, where she now also
works. She says that the vocational training
and New Life Church Guatemala have been
great blessings in her life, and she is thankful
for the people around her. Mailyn knows that
all the changes in her life and the things she
has achieved are thanks to God.
On January 28, 2019, she took a step of
faith and was baptized. “Now, I am blessed to
know that God has carried my burdens. Choosing
him has been the best decision I could have
made. My life has meaning, and each day is a
new opportunity to serve.”

Every Community for Christ (ECC) is the church
planting catalyst of OMS. In addition to Train &
Multiply, ECC used VCP and Training 4 Trainers
to multiply dynamic communities of believers in
more than 50 countries.
In Europe, our Train & Multiply (T&M)
production team translated, formatted,
proofread, and published T&M
materials in Romanian. Our puppet
ministry completed two workshops in
Spain and Bulgaria, which led to new
opportunities to reach adults and children
with the Gospel.
The Africa region is benefitting
from the redesign of the Village
Church Planting (VCP) curriculum for
use in training centers. This incorporates
Interactive Adult Learning principles
with VCP and Omega Course
materials to form a four-year church
planting curriculum. We were blessed
with the gift of 15 JESUS film backpacks,
(as a result of Billion.Global collaboration)
which provide a projector, portable screen, and solar battery to present the JESUS film in a local tribal language.
Believers in Asia faced increased religious persecution in several countries. But despite this, we saw growth. Through a house
church movement, our partners in India have been fruitful in seeing more than 80,000 decisions for Christ. We are also excited to see
progress with Train & Multiply in Japan, where more than 300 people have been trained. The Juan Project in the Philippines is focused
on five provinces, and they are exceeding their four-year goals in the third year. The ECC team is leading the way by coaching pastors
and lay leaders for church multiplication.
In early 2020, we brought together our Latin America region leaders and team members from Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, and
Colombia for coaching training. We give God glory for this year’s harvest of 214,749 decisions for Christ in the Latin America region.
We praise the Lord that our ministry partners reported 536,822 decisions for Christ this year in more than 50 countries.
