The idea behind GGP came to me as
I watched my children grow and saw
there was a huge gap when it came to
environmental education for children.
The link between various environmental
issues was not being made clearly or at all.
And, most importantly the link between
environmental issues and daily human
activity was not being drawn.
I saw that what was missing was a place
to find the tools to make changes at
home (changes in behavior and changes
in consciousness), to connect to a
community of like-minded families who
share the same values, and to provide
repeatable, actionable steps that lead to
concrete, measurable impacts.
capsules offers opportunities for parents
and children to immediately become
active in making positive shifts in lifestyle.
And each month, families build on positive
actions. These positive actions become
habits. Habits become permanent,
sustainable positive changes. The change
starts at home. And, eventually it flows
into the community, then around
the globe.
