It takes ambition and courage to help
Once there was a 9 year old girl called Rachel. She was sad as she was going to start a new school.
“I’m so nervous!” she said when she was at her orientation.
Rachel had seen her teacher had put a note saying he would hit students if they misbehaved.
As Rachel entered the school, it seemed like it was a monster going to gobble her up. She crept past the huge library
doors, almost bumping into a pillar! Rachel could smell flowers and the school lunches. Her brown eyes grew wide as the
buses drove away. She was trying to stay calm when she found something on the ground. Rachel didn’t know what it was.
Rachel picked it up. It looked just like a camera.
“This is just ordinary”, she thought.
After that she changed her mind.. In addition to that, there was a laser!
“Yikes!” Rachel said, seeing a big boy.
His name was Kale. “Hey LOSER!” he shouted.
Rachel ran towards the garden to hide. She saw a map of the school before she reached the garden. “Now I’m longing to
get this camera to lost property,” she said. Rachel felt scared.
As soon as Rachel had set off, the final bus had left the school. But she still heard a motor.
“What’s that?” thought Rachel.
Soon ten mammoth black vans stopped outside the school and 10 men jumped out of each one. “Down on your knees or
we fire!” shouted the biggest one.
“He must be the leader!” thought Rachel. But he wasn’t.
“Split up!” ordered another man.
“So he is,” thought Rachel. Fifty men went to grab all the staff and students. Forty nine guarded the ones caught.
When everyone was caught, the final one, the leader shouted, “We want your school!” But everyone replied, “NOOOO!”
Rachel felt a bead of sweat running down her cheek. It made her desperate for someone to come, a hero was needed.
Someone who was brave enough to help. Everyone, even Rachel, was tied up in their classes. Rachel could only touch her
pockets.
“I must get out!” She screamed, then remembered the laser camera she found. I need to save everyone, I am the only
one who can help them now. She was able to slide the laser camera out of her pocket, but no further. She was breathless
as she clicked the photo button.. . ZAP! A laser came out and broke the rope. ZAP! ZAP! ZAP! Rachel broke herself free.
ZAAAAAP! A big beam hit ninety seven of the hundred men. Next Rachel freed three more girls, but had to escape. The
three remaining men were coming in the room!
“Guard them,” said the leader.
Rachel and the other girls went through the window and landed in the field… flat on their face.
“Stay there, I’m going to save them!” exclaimed Rachel.
“Can I help?” asked one girl, “I have gloves that will work!”
“Great!” Shouted Rachel. The two climbed up to the classroom. ZAP! Lots of lasers killed the kid
