Around 54,000 cars are sold annually in Cambodia, but more than 80 percent of those cars are imported used vehicles, which makes the new vehicle market quite small. Registered vehicles (motorcycles, light, and heavy vehicles) reached 441,800 total units in 2017, but motorcycles account for the majority of those registrations -- about 380,000 new motorbikes are registered in Cambodia each year.
