Experience UK serves as a valuable network and support hub for UK companies operating across the experience and attractions sector. Experience UK also delivers a flow of timely information on new projects to its members, helping them position themselves for growth.
The UK Government’ s Department for Business and Trade( DBT) has a team supporting the Creative Industries( a priority sector in the Government’ s Industrial Strategy) – specifically including the Experience Economy. The team runs a programme of events in the sector and is linked to a global network of DBT staff who can offer in-market support. The Experience Economy team is run by Rozmin Blatt( Rozmin. blatt @ businessandtrade. gov. uk) following overview highlights additional pathways to connect, learn, and engage with the wider global community.
Membership of national associations such as BALPPA( British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions), along with leading international bodies like IAAPA( International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions), provides access to networking, knowledge sharing and professional development. The Themed Entertainment Association( TEA) is another key organisation for companies working in visitor attractions, offering year round activities and events across multiple markets.
