AN IMPACT
MAKING AN impact and leaving a
mark in a positive way is a goal of the
GAIN Gives program. Recognizing
General Agents and members of their
teams within the Global Atlantic
Insurance
Network
provides
an
opportunity to spotlight those special
individuals driven to make a difference.
Few succeed in making a difference
and helping others as well as Danny
Rasberry and the members of Rasberry
Producer Group. Located in Laurel,
Mississippi, Danny has built a career
focused on identifying and developing
talented people who desire a fulfilling
professional career focused on serving
and bettering the lives of others.
A great example of this is with Lee
and Kathy Rogers. Lee and Kathy are
life insurance professionals associated
with Rasberry Producer Group. A few
years ago, Lee and Kathy founded a
volunteer organization to recognize and
honor the life and value of the elderly
in our society. This organization is
called Adopt A Grandparent. The goal
is simple. Demonstrate love, affection,
and appreciation for those elderly
individuals who have contributed so
much to society by simply spending time
with them and letting them know they
are appreciated.
Statistics show that 50 percent of
the elderly residing in nursing homes
have no close relatives. Even worse, 46
percent have no living children and 60
percent have no outside visitors that
come and see them.
The Adopt A Grandparent organization
that Lee and Kathy Rogers founded
and that is supported by Rasberry
Producer Group has seen tremendous
growth since its founding. The group
has designated the Saturday before the
nationally recognized Grandparents Day
as the local Adopt A Grandparent Day.
Each year, hundreds of volunteers visit

elderly persons at many nursing homes
throughout Harrison, Hancock, and
Jackson counties in Mississippi. In 2019,
the organization continues to grow by
impacting the lives of more than 1,600
nursing home residents in almost 40
nursing and retirement homes throughout
the state.
The commitment and dedication that
Lee and Kathy Rogers have shown to this
cause is heavily supported by Rasberry
Producer Group and its members.
Supporting the efforts to make a positive
impact in the local community is critical
to the long-term success of not only
insurance professionals like Lee and Kathy
but also General Agents like Danny and the
team at Rasberry Producer Group. To learn
