Global Adops Newsletter - June June2017-AdOpsNewsletter_Final | Page 2

Hi everyone, Welcome to the 55th Edition of Ad Ops News Hello Ad Ops Family! We are flying through the year, and H1 is coming to an end! Some amazing ‘Next Plays’ have been made, some very cool team outings have been had. Let’s take a look at how this quarter is progressing and celebrate our 2017 successes thus far. As always, make sure to check out our new hires, anniversaries, birthdays, and recent promotions. Want to see something in particular in future editions of the Ad Ops newsletter? Please email [email protected] if you have anything you’d like to share with your peers around the world! As you know, DIBs is an incredibly important initiative to LinkedIn and I am personally committed to being an active part of these conversations both internally and externally. Recently I was invited to speak at LinkedIn WiN Invest Leadership workshop in Chicago (go/win), followed by an appearance on a panel at Samsung’s headquarters in New Jersey for their launch of the “Seoul Sisters” conference, where women (and men) of diverse backgrounds, job functions and experience attended. On the panel we discussed the importance of advocates and mentors. Which leads me to this question for the team: do you have a trusted partner(s) who are your advocates? What about a mentor? If the answer is no, brainstorm with your manager. #Relationshipsmatter isn’t just a catch phrase we use around LinkedIn, it’s a vital component of our professional (and personal) lives! Now for some business updates: ~ Allison Larson, Leor Milshtein, Garrett Schmitt, Nicholas Malinow, Sonia Cousquer, & Rahul Malhotra The Deal Desk team - now 6 weeks old, continues to grow as experts in their new roles; busy with 1:1 training and office hours to get all pods comfortable with the new Golden Gate process, all while ensuring we are able to process orders as quickly as possible through Golden Gate and XSM. You can find more details around what the team has been up to in the Deal Desk section of this newsletter. Thank you Manjyot and team for keeping things running over the last few weeks! Golden Gate - is transitioning into the post-MVP phase meaning we are back to building out features and enhancements based on your feedback on how to improve the client experience. Additionally, we are starting to prep and build out requirements for our next migration, the majority of orders in XSM (excluding LATAM, China, Sales Houses), and will have next steps plus details coming soon. Special thanks to Ashley P. and everyone involved in GG, it is quite an undertaking! Stay tuned and happy summer from this side of the world.
