Each issue of Gleam features interviews with our artists and we have created a wealth of
knowledge for both professionals and just lovers of art, fashion and photography. This
is our first issue without interviews. The only commentary is mine. I’ve had the great
privilege of getting to know each of our contributors through our ongoing correspondence
and conducting every interview. Every artist who has made it into Gleam Magazine is a
beautiful artist and person.
For the ‘Best of Gleam’ we have picked work from your favorite Gleam artists, based on
your positive feedback on social media and comments to us. Many are images submitted
but never published and others are just our very favorite! These artists have submitted
new work so you can see a different side of them, and through our live links follow their
websites and social media.
The artists we selected for the Best of Gleam 2014 are special not only for what they
contributed to Gleam in our first year, but because of what we see in their immense
potential as artists in their time.
I am truly grateful for every artist featured in Gleam. Thank you, and know that I will
continue to follow your success!
