A New Year A New You
I don't have any cute cliches or sassy sayings to try and coerce you into making alot of New Year's resolutions that you may or may not keep. So often we make promises for our lives and end up feeling as though those "promises" become our "prisons " when we fail to fulfill them. Year after year we make resolutions, often it's the same resolution we made the previous year, and the previous year, and the previous year...until we've stockpiled a heap of broken promises to ourselves. It's easier for us to flip a script of a calendar date while our lives remain the same. It's easy for us to go to the same yearly "Watch Night Service" and shout and dance over the same unfilled "lie" that never became our "truth". No, spare me the hoopla and the regurgitating of two points and a poem, promising change but never seeing change manifest. I've learned until I'm resolute and resolved with a renewed mind and a spirit of determination, resolutions soon become obsolete for me. So what about this year? What am I
