And David came to Baal-perazim, and he smote them there, and said, The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like the bursting out of great waters. So he called the name of that place Baal-perazim [Lord of breaking through].
David did not make a move without seeking God's counsel first. Before engaging the enemy "David inquired of the LORD, 'Shall I go and attack the Philistines?Will you deliver them into my hands?' " David did not lean to his own understanding, or do what what right in his own eyes. Only when he got the go ahead from God, did he move and he met with great success as a result. We too must learn to hear and obey God. We must stay in the strategic timing of God and move as His Spirit governs. He is our strategist and when we move in His divine order, He goes before us. David was victorious but David was also obedient unto the instructions He receivd from the LORD...to the letter! Breakthrough is in your atmosphere! There's a wind of current blowing right where you are! The Spirit of the living God is ready to move upon your obstacles, hindrances and barriers, will you posture yourself to receive His instructions? Will you allow THE BREAKER to release BREAK THROUGH in every area of your life? He's passed before you...will you follow Him?
