A Whole New Calibre
Caliber 5200, developed and manufactured by Vacheron
Constantin, is a new automatic winding movement comprised
of 263 components with a power reserve of approximately 52
hours. This new movement is specially designed to ensure a
smooth chronograph function. The column wheel coordinates
the chronograph start, stop and reset functions, and contains
a screw shaped like the Maltese cross emblem, which is a new
signature feature of Vacheron Constantin’s chronographs. A
vertical coupling clutch prevents the hands from jerking when
the chronograph starts. The transparent sapphire crystal case
back showcases the complex movement, highlighting the 22kt
gold oscillating weight detailed with a wind rose. Anti-magnetic
protection helps create resistance from magnetic forces to
ensure longevity and accuracy. Water resistant to 150 meters.
