Festivals
Summer Festival Kickoff
Start the summer on the right foot with these outdoor festivals.
Missions & Marvel
The seventh month of the year is
lucky for those interested in religious
history and fictional heroes.
Arts & Culture
Walk, sip, and shop in a hotspot of creativity
at the San Diego Festival of the Arts on
June 8th and 9th. The event will feature
work by over 200 artists including paintings,
woodwork and more. Better yet, the festival
raises funds to support activities for San
Diegans with disabilities.
San Diego’s Original Greek Festival will also
take place that weekend, June 7th – 9th.
Celebrate Greek culture with authentic food,
music, dancing with lessons, and tours of
Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church.

Comic-Con is back again from July
18th – 21st. San Diego’s favorite
event to geek out on will give you
exclusive access to stars and themed
activities, as well as a downtown takeover of epic proportions. You can also
celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of Mission San Diego de Alcala
at San Diego Festival of
the Bells on July 13th and
14th. The celebration will
have live entertainment,
games, and the Blessing
of the Bells which you will
not want to miss.

Celebrate Chula Vista
Explore and celebrate the Chula Vista
community with these fun events.
The Chula Vista Lemon Festival
this August is a great opportunity
to explore Third Avenue and learn
more about the community’s lemon
heritage. If
an interactive
discovery zone,
live musical performances, and a pet parade at Bayside Park
sound like a good time to you then you should mark August 17th
on your calendar for the City of Chula Vista HarborFest.
