SWA Community SANFORD PROGRAMS: Creating a Better Tomorrow S anford Programs, which are reaching more than three million students nationwide, are designed to serve global needs of the 21st century through educational resources and research-based approaches aimed at creating a more positive, collaborative society. Based on the vision of philanthropist and businessman T. Denny Sanford, the three programs are designed to address critical needs in the nonprofit and education realm. Sanford Harmony and Sanford Inspire provide innovative resources for the PreK-12 education sector, and Sanford Institute of Philanthropy offers educational programs to help nonprofits significantly increase their fundraising capabilities and impact they have in their communities. The founding Sanford Institute of Philanthropy at National University was launched in 2014 to develop curriculum that is now being shared with affiliated Institutes around the country.
