The San Diego
Police Foundation’s
mission, since
Kristi Pieper
1998, has been
to raise funds
to provide the
San Diego Police Department with needed equipment,
training and outreach programs to ensure a safer San Diego.
I sincerely appreciate the generous donors and sponsors
who have made a lasting impression and legacy to this fine
organization.
Each and every day, 24/7, our men and women in blue, along
San Diego’s peace officers need the community’s
support. There is an urgent need to purchase
life-saving equipment, upgrade technology and
software, and to make it possible for our police
force to be better trained, better equipped and
better supported so they can protect and serve our
neighborhoods.
With the help and generosity of caring citizens
and their “hearts of gold,” the Police Foundation is
able to assist the San Diego Police Department in
many ways:
• Support effective crime-prevention programs
that enhance police-community relations,
prevent youth gang activity, fight online
predators, and more.
• Fund needed equipment and training that the
city budget does not cover.
• Raise awareness and advocate for stronger
safety measures and practices in our
communities.
• Strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship
between SDPD and the public it serves.
