Chicago. Launched in March of 2017, they formed a fantastic partnership with CB2 (Crate and Barrel) who provided seed- funding in exchange for philanthropic social media content. U-Haul has generously provided 70,000 square feet of warehouse space and trucking. HD in Chicago furnished 1 home per week within their first year. Seattle. Humble Design recently received backing from Microsoft employees and the Schultz Family Foundation to open a location in Seattle. Additionally, King County generously donated 19,000 square feet of warehouse space. U-Haul has donated all the trucking services. Humble Design has had huge momentum since moving to San Diego in August. They are seeking a founding partner to support their initial hires and warehouse space. Once up and running they are self-sufficient within 18-24 months. There has been an offer of a massive quantity of furniture, hundreds of willing volunteers, U-Haul trucks and small warehouse space. Additionally, they have identified partnerships with several shelters that are eagerly awaiting their service. All Humble Design San Diego needs to start helping these families in crisis is a financial backer.  One of the benfits of partnering with Humble Design is that it is a content generating machine. For each Humble Design family, they film a home-reveal video, which they brand for their sponsors. Recently a Detroit home-reveal video went viral and reached over 50 million viewers. Partners such as CB2 and U-Haul have used the videos to promote their charitable endeavors. HD is no stranger to media and press - these videos have caught the attention of CNN, ABC, Fast Company, New York Times and more.  To schedule a meeting or to inquire about hosting a Humble Design Luncheon at your office, please visit www.humbledesign.org  for more information.
