ardiovascular diseases kill
approximately 1 in 3 women
each year - approximately
one woman every 80
seconds. The good news
is that 80 percent of cardiac events
may be prevented with education and
lifestyle changes. The Go Red For Women
Luncheon united women who overcame
the odds and to help raise funds. This
year’s San Diego Legendary Women of the
Heart were Joyce Butler, Valerie Cooper,
Susan Hoehn and Armi Williams.
