Interview
with Grace Peterson
GS&NS: Hi, Grace! Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Grace: My name is Grace Peterson, and I am from Kuna, Idaho. My name, Grace, is a very poor description of who I am. I am anything but graceful. I am clumsy, loud, and a little bit strange. I’m a hopeless romantic which accounts for many of the poems and stories that I write. I like inconvenient and strange love though, not the kind you would read about in a Nicholas Sparks book.
GS&NS: What inspired you to write your poem, “A Change With Time”?
Grace: As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed a lack of innocence and joy for the world. People my age and older seem to have lost an appreciation for life and the simple joy of the little things. “A Change With Time” was inspired by the utmost beauty that innocence sees in the world before it is corrupted by time.
