Angeliki Rampaouni, 25
creates minimalist, intricate handmade jewellery
for her business AngelArt located in Athens.
How did you launch your business?
I’ve always had a strong need to create. I started with beads
and friendship bracelets and then at the age of 14, I discovered
metals and got so excited by the unlimited design possibilities.
I decided to take design and silversmithing courses while I was
already selling my jewellery in exhibitions and dreaming of my
future store. It didn’t take me long to realize that I should turn
my hobby into a profitable business.
How would you describe your label?
My jewellery line is delicate and minimal and consists of
abstract or geometric forms and clean lines with touches of
sparkle and colour. For me, precious and non-precious materials are equally important in the creative process. I like to combine sterling silver and gemstones with alternative materials like
resin, plexiglass, caoutchouc, paper, lace and textiles.
